Billing is handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Whoever purchased Modulo can sign in with the email used at purchase to update a card, pay an invoice or download receipts. Paddle emails a one-time sign-in link, so there's no password to remember.

FAQ
What exactly is locked in at the founding rate? +
The licences you subscribe to today. Buy a Small Team plan now and those 5 PCs renew at today's price for as long as you maintain your subscription — protected from any future price increases. The lock applies to those licences, not to future purchases: PCs you add later are billed at whatever the pricing is at that time.
How does licensing work? +
One licence covers Modulo on one PC — there are no per-person logins. A Small Team plan, for example, covers Modulo installed on up to 5 computers across your firm. Teams needing 2–4 PCs can choose Solo and pick a quantity up to 4 at checkout — all on one licence key.
What happens when my trial ends? +
Modulo simply stops generating documents until you subscribe — nothing is deleted and nothing is charged, because we never took a card. Your master document is a normal Word file on your own drive, so it remains fully yours and fully editable either way.
Can I upgrade as my team grows? +
Yes — you can add PCs or move up to a bigger plan whenever you need to. Get in touch and we'll sort it out. Your existing licences keep their founding rate; any PCs you add are billed at current pricing when you add them. If you think you'll grow soon, buying the bigger plan now locks in more PCs at today's rate.
Are prices really in USD? I'm not in the US. +
Yes, all pricing is in USD and billed annually. Your bank or card provider converts at their standard rate.
Do you offer monthly billing? +
Not currently — annual billing keeps the price down and matches how teams actually adopt Modulo. The 30-day trial exists so you can be certain before any money changes hands.
